Same here. I forget which museum in California, but one of them allows you to drive a diesel for 120 dollars.

I've never been in the cab of a steam or a diesel engine, but when I was little I stood on the footplate of a mostly accurate Thomas replica. There were 2 problems with it though: 1. The wheels were way too small and spaced apart, and 2. it had no side rods on its wheels.

Trains, It was up at the Conway Senic Railroad in New Hampshire, and yes, I do have some pictures. However, they are all one my Windows 95 computer in my room, and since the floppy drive on the compputer in my attic (which I am using at the moment) no longer works, I shall have to upload them to a pc in my schoo, during my computer class, then load them onto my flash drive, then to my photobucket account.

TEngine, it must have been great to actually ride in a Black Five. Isn't Henry supposed to be a Balck Five?

StannierJack, you got to be in Russel's cab on the Welsh Highland Railway? Very nice, too bad it hasn't been repaired yet. And the Watercress Line(MHR) Thomas is my personal favourite Thomas replica, mslty because of the moving eyes.

But here are the pictures. I swear I had my picture taken with Sir Topham Hatt/The Fat Controller as well, but I've never found the picture...but here they are anyway.
