It's not as bad as listening to an E8 blasting it's horn when it's only 2 meters away from you, unannounced I might add.

You thaink that funny, well here this!

I was ten and we were watching the train. and you know the USA lights that are on the end? well the guy placed it on the rails. Not next to the track like it should be! The train dirver was done what they were doing and then the train backed into the cars. The last car ran over the End device for the train. It was flat, very flat, but so funny at the same time

I have my own funny story. I was waiting for my train when it screeched into the station, and EVERYONE, I mean EVERYONE, was deafened. A man who was sleeping by the train jumped up and yelled "The Bomb Sirens' Ringing!"

Train horns don't bother me when they're right next to me. I can stand next to the engine and have the horn blast and it doesn't hurt. I remember when I was like six I was walking next to the tracks and an F40PH came rushing by. The horn was so loud my aunt and sister jumped. But then that same day I was almost killed by three SD40's. I really didn't worry about it though. If I'm going to work for the railroad I'm gonna die on the railroad.

Amen to that. I don't get scared when a horn blows, just deafened. My ears ring for HOURS though. :)

I was born around Equipment  Nothing bothers me! But when you don't expect it to come, then I can understand when you jump!

I can take Train and sleep right next to the tracks, I wouldn't wake up

To Trains's Thomas, nice, but it's also way out of scale.
I once went on a day out with Thomas, flagged a race between
Toby & Mavis, drove Thomas & Percy, & looked in Diesel!
That was the best day of my life.
Percy & Diesel weren't vey accurate, but Diesel, Toby & Thomas were. :)
