Hi,

I'm a newcomer to TS2009.
I downloaded an Isle of Wight route which contains your Gas Light,<kuid2:68236:23202:1>.
I managed to address all the other errors that TS2009 complains about with the exception of the Gas Light.

As far as I can tell, it seems to work OK but produces the following errors in CM2:

Texture 'Glass.texture' is missing or could not be loaded for mesh
'hash-7F\content 59uogg6o1440\gas_light.im'.
Texture 'nightlights/Glass.texture' is missing or could not be loaded for mesh
'hash-7F\content 59uogg6o1440\nightlights\nightlights.im'.

All the files I've examined appear to be correct. I'd hate to have to replace it with something else as I think it's really nice.

If you could help me solve the problem, I'd be very grateful

Thanks,
Sig

Hey, No problem.
As it happens, after my post, I discovered a suitable replacement which seems to work and doesn't have errors.

I see this type of error a lot. Does this mean that there are just some files which cannot be migrated to TS2009?

Thanks again,
Sig

Have you checked that the texture.txt mentioned actually has the corresponding image file?

Hi Dean_F,

Thanks. Yes, I've checked that all the required files are there - I've even checked their file formats to make sure that they're not compressed or the wrong colour depth. When I've found missing files, I've always tried to replace them from elsewhere or make a texture where possible but there just seem to be occasions when all appears well but I still get an error message similar to the one above.

I recall that I've read somewhere about 'forward slashes' and 'back slashes' can sometimes be a problem but I can't remember where I read it.

I've upgraded quite a number of objects to 2009 standard with mixed success. I'd like to try and raise my sucess rate if possible. For instance, I'm trying to evaluate the effect of there being no (indexed) mesh in the shadow path or no shadow at all.

Sig
