Hi everyone,

Is it possible to build a Rebuilt West Country class?
There are none on the DLS, and I really need one for Swanage (Eddystone).
Thanks ever so much! :D

Tomliboo :)

Thanks SuperD, but that's a Merchant Navy, not a Rebuilt West Country. :(
Magandy, thanks too, but that's an un-rebuilt West Country. :(
Thanks anyway,

Tomliboo.

Both of Rob's models are Merchant Navys, one rebuilt (the released one), one unrebuilt (the one in the works)

They're essentially the same design. You're asking for a similar model with few differences.

Same sort of design but you can always tell and rebuilt/unrebuilt light pacific from a Merchant due to the size difference of the two. I do wish to create the Rebuilt BoB/WC's but I haven't got a clue when this will start. Reason for this being I've moved over to using 3DSM for all my content creation and the older locos where built in gmax and moving them over is a pig and I find its easier to start again, plus with starting again I can use the new techniques I've learnt such as Ambient Occlusion maps, Normal Maps, Specular maps, and better UVW's. A good example of all of that is the Longfit wagon which is a sort of demonstrator of the direction in terms of quality I want to go with my models.

You don't know how happy you've made me. Thank you!
Do you think they'll be done in 1 year's timeish?
Thanks again,

Tomliboo :D

I'd go to the DLS itself and hunt down the assets.
